The United Arab Emirates is all set to welcome tourists from across the globe as the nation is approaching towards the most favourable weather and season, which has also opened up the doors for the tourism sector to step into the country. Nothing these changes, the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism has issued a set of guidelines for travellers, including vaccinated and unvaccinated.
For people who are planning to travel by road from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, a checkpoint will be available at the Ghantoot checkpoint, where vaccination certificates issued by the respective nations will be submitted.
The passengers must have to present a negative-tested certificate of PCR test conducted within 14 days in UAE or those conducted 48 hours outside the nation.
Meanwhile, tourists who have been vaccinated should present a negative result. Whereas, those who have not been vaccinated should submit a negative PCR test conducted within 96 hours.
Make sure one must have received the vaccine that the UAE has acknowledged. Abu Dhabi also allows access to vaccines that have been approved by the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health and Prevention Society.
One must follow a rule of compulsory quarantine in Abu Dhabi specifically for vaccinated and unvaccinated from the nations under the Green list.
Travellers must install the Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship (ICA UAE Smart) application or must log on to the ica.gov.ae website to complete the Register Arrivals Form 48 hours prior to the travel date.
