Dubai: A fire explosion took place at a military camp in Western Iran, state-linked media reported on February 14 Monday. This is the latest in a series of blazes and other accidents affecting the country’s infrastructure in the latest months.
The fire occurred in the warehouse of the military camp, which is filled with engine oil and flammable materials at a base belonging to Iran’s powerful Parliamentary Revolutionary Guard in the Western region of Kemranshah, reported by sources.
The fire damaged a shed but did not harm anyone or create any casualties. The investigation was going on and looked into the reason for the fire and details.
The day before the fire took place. Some unconfirmed reports increased online about the several eruptions listened in Northern Kermanshah, a strategic location in Iran with various missiles and military sites. In the past years, sensitive military and nuclear sites have been the target of attacks, which Iran has blamed on Israel.
The fire happened as Iran remained on end about negotiations over its nuclear programmes in Vienna this week.
The deal of 2015, which granted the Iran boycotts relief in exchange for curbs on its nuclear programme, tumbled nearly four years ago when the US former President ‘Donald Trump’ removed the US from the accord and re-imposed crushing boycotts.
After several months of slow progress, representatives stated that the nuclear deals reached on a strong phase.
According to the Iranian Foreign Minister ‘Hossein Amirabdollahian’, if the United States and Europe return to the commitments, they can easily make a good and short-term agreement.
As per the Iranian spokesperson, “We are in a hurry to reach a good agreement, “but within the framework of rational negotiations and gaining the rights and interests of the Iranian people.”
According to ‘Amirabdollahian’ that other parties threatened and warned Iran this will be going the last round of negotiations, there will be no more talks on this topic. Furthermore, Iran says the country’s nuclear programme is peaceful.
