Kuwait city: According to the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, the window for Tourist visas for Kuwaitis has been opened after the COVID-19 pandemic in India and the ease of COVID-19 restrictions with immediate effect.
During the press release embassy stated that the visa applications, along with their required documents and visa fee, may be submitted at the BLS International Outsourcing Centres of the Embassy.
Visa applicants must appear in person at the BLS Centre to have their biometric data and photographs taken. The visa applicants have to submit their application on the third floor of the Jawahara Tower, Ali Al-Salem Street, Kuwait City; Mezzanine Floor, Olive Supermarket Building Jleeb Al Shuyouk and Al Anoud Shopping Complex, Mezzanine Floor; Makkah Street, Fahaheel from Saturday to Friday between 09:30 and 14:00 hrs (9.30 am to 2 pm). For any other details regarding any documentation requirements and visa fees.

People are applying for visas mainly for Haj yatra because it is about to start in Saudi Arabia, and Ramadan is also going on. Moreover, Umrah and Haj yatra will not be allowed without a permit, and the permit will be issued through apps Eatmarna and Tawkkalna, the Ministry added, as per the Sources. It said that a fine of SR10,000 would be imposed on arrivals if they came without a permit.
However, the administration will verify the permit on the Tawakkalna app by checking it with the national ID, residency ID, or passport number according to the date specified in the permit, said the Ministry’s General Directorate of Public Security.
