Dubai: Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan’, shared adorable pictures of his twin babies’ birthday celebration as well as fatherhood. 

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum shared a photo of the day when they were born. He shared pictures on Instagram with a caption: It feels like just yesterday, I took these pictures. It’s been a whole year today—happy Birthday, Rashid and Shaikha, and to all the rest of the children in the world. 

Last year on May 20, Sheikh Hamdan and Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed welcomed their twins, and the Crown Prince declared the arrival of the babies by sharing an image of blue and pink feet, indicating the birth of a baby boy and a girl.

The following day of their birth, the proud father shared another picture of his newborn where he seemed to be holding his twins while seated on a sofa, dressed in a white kandura. 

Sheikh Hamdan got married to Sheikha Shaikha Bint Saeed Bin Thani Al Maktoum in May 2019 in a ceremony in Dubai attended by all the Rulers and leaders.

The Dubai Crown Prince is a popular social media figure with 14 million followers on Instagram. 

Senior United Arab Emirates figures were among those who offered warm words to the parents at the time.

“I give greetings to my brother His Highness ‘Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’, Crown Prince of Dubai, for the appearance of his two children,” Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, wrote on Twitter after the birth.

In June 2021, a photo of the twins with their grandfather, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, went viral.

In the heartwarming picture shared by Sheikh Hamdan, Sheikh Mohammed is seen nestling the young babies in his arms. The photo has received around a million likes.
