Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy President of the Prime Minister, Allah protected him, as a Governor of the Emirate of Dubai, issued Law No. (5) for 2022 to establish the “Dubai Media Council”, aiming to unify media efforts in the Emirate to adopt a comprehensive vision and effective strategy on the For local, regional and international media levels, and media strategy development.

To strengthen the media position of Dubai to become a radical focus on all local, regional and international levels.

As issued by His Highness Decree No. (10) for the year 2022 with the appointment of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Media Council, and Decree No. (12) of 2022 forming the Dubai Media Council headed by His Highness Sheikh Ahmad bin Mohammed and a member of His Excellency Mani Ghanam Al-Mari, Deputy of the View Q and chartered member Hala happiness Youssef Badri, Saada Malik Sultan Al-Malik, Abdullah Hamid Balhol, Younes Abdul Aziz Al Nasser, Amal Ahmad bin Shabib, Essam Abdul Rahim Kazem, Mohamed Sulaiman Mullah, in addition to the Secretary-General of the Dubai Council of Knowledge, and the period of the Three-year council membership is renewable for a similar period.

To this, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai Chairman of the Executive Council, issued Council Resolution No.22 for 2022 to appoint Nihal Badri, General Secretary of the Dubai Media Council.
