Kuwait: His Excellency the Minister of Health A. D. Khaled Al-Saeed: The Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialties is a modern beacon that meets the hopes of developing the academic medical training system for doctors in the State of Kuwait.

The Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialties celebrated in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Health A. D. Khaled Al-Saeed renews the Institute’s founding recognition from the Royal Canadian College of Doctors and Surgeons for four years starting in December 2021, in the presence of a delegation from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons chaired by the College’s Executive Director, Dr Susan Moufat Bar And.
On his part, the Minister of Health praised A. D. Khaled Al-Saeed, thanks to the efforts of the Institute, faculty presidents, program managers, coordinators, trainers and office observers of the Institute for their hard work that resulted in this important achievement, as well as the continuation of the expansion efforts of programs that have received this international recognition, which put the Institute in a filter WORLD ACADEMIC EDUCATION BODIES.
His Excellency the Minister expressed his pride in the renewal of credence, emphasizing the role of the Institute as a beacon of modern medicine that meets hopes of developing the academic medical training system in the State of Kuwait, reaching the principle of sustainable development by polarizing local capabilities to join the programs and improve The level of doctors, which reflects positively on the level of health services in Kuwait.
On his part, the Secretary-General of the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialties “KIMS” praised Dr Fawaz Al-Rifai for the unlimited support of His Excellency the Minister of Health A. D. Khaled Al-Saeed, the agent of the ministry, Dr Mustafa Reda, the members of the Board of Trustees of the Institute and all the sectors concerned with the ministry in accomplishing the tasks entrusted to the Institute.
Dr Al-Rifai reaffirmed that the Institute’s vision is not limited to obtaining institutional accreditation but is also part of a comprehensive vision of developing the academic medical training system in the state of Kuwait.
Dr Al-Rifai pointed out that the Institute has gained institutional accreditation since 2017, and the renewal of its accreditation comes in parallel with the expansion of nominated programs for this international recognition in the next stage, God willing, after obtaining the pathological, cellular anatomy and program A For children and the principles of surgery program on academic recognition.
