Bahrain: The Equal Opportunities Committee in the Ministry of Industry and Trade held its annual meeting of this year chaired by the Assistant Agent for Control and Resources, Chairman of the Equal Opportunities Commission, Mr Abdul Aziz Muhammad Al-Ashraf, via video technology.
In the meeting, Committee proposed and discussed many special topics Supporting Bahraini women in the field of work in the ministry, in addition to the interest of the ministry in implementing Strategies of the Supreme Council for Women in Supporting Bahraini Women.
In addition, the Ministry sought participation in the award of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabija bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa for the advancement of Bahraini women in its seventh term, and the meeting may also knock on the principle of promoting Farah equality P among the new staff in the ministry by taking part in lectures Specialized courses in coordination with the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Women.
The Chairman of the Committee stated that the Ministry is working to support all its affiliates without exception, encourage them to work and train for promotions, carry out higher leadership positions and highlight all their achievements, assuring that the Ministry, with the support of His Excellency the Honorable Minister of Industry and Trade, has established Many initiatives and goals that will achieve equality Amongst all the staff.
The Ministry has also gone a long way in strengthening the role of women and developing their leadership skills, implementing qualification and job placement plans by transferring the experiences of senior officials to nominated employees for the positions, said the Assistant Provision and Resources.
The Chairman of the Committee stressed the Ministry’s keenness to go ahead with activating the work of the Equal Opportunities Committee, which aims to provide support to women and men both in all sectors of the Ministry through development programs, training and promoting their role in various administrative locations.
