Doha/Qatar: The Criminal Investigation Department of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation arrested a person from an Asian country for carrying out a number of home thefts.
The department had received reports about thefts from some homes. Immediately a special team was formed, and by intensifying the search operations and gathering the necessary information, the investigations resulted in the arrest of the accused, and in his own statements, he confessed his crimes.
The accused man said that he targeted less secured homes and had stolen money and valuables in addition to phones, electronic devices and tools, and others.
Accordingly, the accused person and the seized items were referred to the competent authorities to complete the procedures followed in this regard.
The competent authorities of the Ministry of Interior urge the public to ensure security measures by securing the doors and not leaving them open and installing security surveillance cameras for homes to protect them.
