Qatar: The third Qatari-Saudi coordination meeting regarding entry procedures for arrivals through the Abu Samra border crossing during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ started today, Wednesday, 28 September 2022, and will continue for two days at the Sheraton Doha Hotel.
Brig. Nasser bin Abdullah Al Thani, Director of the Border Passports Department, heads the Qatari delegation at the meeting, while Brig. Gen. Saud bin Bandar Al-Sour, Assistant Director General of Passports for Border Affairs, led the Saudi delegation.
Brig. Nasser bin Abdullah Al Thani welcomed the Saudi delegation in their second country, Qatar, wishing the efforts would ensure smooth entry of the masses into the State of Qatar through the Abu Samra border crossing.
He mentioned that the present meeting is a continuation of what was discussed in the previous two meetings to enhance cooperation concerning entry and exit procedures during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments on the approved entry mechanism for those coming to the State of Qatar during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ through the Abu Samra border crossing and other topics on the agenda.
