The Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Dr Amr Talaat, participated in the celebration of WE applied technology among the students graduating from Samsung International Grant for coding and programming in Cairo on December 26, 2022.
As per the updates from the event, Dr Amr Talaat stated that 7 WE schools applied for technology in different governorates to prepare a generation of technicians and new-age innovative persons. The initiative is introduced to make people understand the importance of technology and can apply and apply it.
Furthermore, Dr Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, witnessed the graduation ceremony of WE Schools of Applied Technology students from Samsung International Grant for Coding and Programming Software.
The officials also conveyed that the given grants are one of the most important allows offered by Samsung Innovation Program Samsung Innovation Campus by Samsung International. The event was organized under the auspicious supervision of the ministry of communication and information technology.
The approved grants were given to qualifying students for the labour market by developing their professional skills and upgrading their technological competencies and abilities. The student’s skills will benefit the nation by boosting technological innovations.
As per the sources, Samsung International Company cooperated with the Egyptian Telecommunications Company in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Egypt association to design and implement a distinguished training program in coding and programming for about 973 students in WE Applied Technology factories.
In the governorates of Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Suez, Dahlia and Minya, during the period from April 13 until On October 9, 2022, 193 students from WE Applied Technology schools were trained last year, bringing a total of 1,66 Samsung International Scholarship recipients, under the supervision of a staff of about 90 coaches and coordinators.
In his speech, Dr Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, confirmed that the goal of establishing WE Schools for Applied Technology is to change the traditional stereotypes about technical education and prepare a generation of technicians and technicians who realize the importance of knowledge.
The ministry indicated that these schools are successful in achieving their vision. It is the product of the fruitful cooperation between the ministries of communication and information technology, education and technical education, the Egyptian telecommunications company, and the private sector.
Moreover, Dr Amr Talat added, “WE Schools for Applied Technology have been established according to a vision consistent with the capacity building strategic determinations implemented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.”

During his speech, Dr Amr Talaat praised the cooperation between all elements of the communication and information technology sector at this event,
