According to officials, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) put a third satellite into earth”s orbit. The name “nour” given to sattelite which means light in the Persian language.
Sattelite was put into low earth orbit with the use of a space carrier “messenger” developed by IRGC .Moreover, this is the third successful satellite launch by the aerospace division of the Iran’s army .
The noor-3 was successfully placed in earth orbit at the height of 450 Km away from the earth’s surface .
This is the third version of “Nour”. The first version was launched successfully in April of 2020 and placed into orbit. First version was placed at a height of 425km (265 miles ) above the Earth.
It was the first military reconnaissance satellite launched by Iran’s military . Before this successful feat many attempts by Iran failed to launch a satellites.
Similarly , the next version, which was the second version, again launched using mixed-fuel carriers in 2022 . This second Irani’s satellite was placed above the earth’s surface at a height of 500 km (310 miles ).
It is worth to mentioned that the the second satellite was russan built and and was capable to captures high–resolution images . Moreover, this was launched from the satellite launch base situated in Kazakhstan.
There is no reaction from western countries yet surfaced in media this time .
But the USA and its Western allies in in the past time expressed their concern many times over the Iranian satellite . Western allies also suggested that the Iran space mission’s development may violate the resolution’s terms.
The resolution was passed by the United Nations Security Council as Western countries were afraid of the use of space technology for nuclear weapons by Iran.
On the other hand, Iran continues to dismiss such claims of the USA and its allies . The nuclear programmes of Iran are entirely peaceful, Iran repeatedly asserted.
