PM Drew reveals snippets of construction site of new traffic dept. building at St. Johnson’s Village

St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew has revealed the glimpses of construction sites. The project work of the construction sites is underway.

As he promised earlier, PM Drew continued to keep it and posted the glimpses of the new traffic department building which is located next to the police training complex. The present building is located in a very small space at St. Johnson’s Village.

As per the sources, the investment is critical. Prime Minister Drew said that they upgraded the services as it had been a long cry for the people of St. Kitts and Nevis to have modern space that meets the modern needs of the society.

Furthermore, these are being built to provide more jobs to the construction workers. Earlier also he posted the pictures of MRI building that is being constructed at the JNF General Hospital.

Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis also shared the photographs of St. Peter’s main road. He also confirmed that the construction of the buildings is expected to be completed by this year, in 2024.

It was back in February 2024 that PM Drew made the announcement in a press conference regarding the completion of the procurement process of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine.

Considerably, the construction of the MRI buildings was initiated to help the government in providing the accommodation for the machine. Whereas, the MRI machine at the JNF Hospital will be an addition to the provision of quality healthcare in the nation.

Following the post of the prime minister at his official social media handle on Facebook, many people have presented their views as they wish to praise the work done by the St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party.

A person with the username Livingstone Buchanan commented, “Oh Yeah! Awesome! That’s a public necessity that were definitely needed due to no parking can be found when doing business. Perfect location by all means having easy access at any time of the day.”
