St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew met with the soccer players, following the very first Ambassador Cup Tournament. The tournament was held recently in the nation to build a healthy living among the community.
PM Drew had the distinct pleasure of inaugurating the Ambassadors Cup-40+ Football Tournament. The soccer tournament was organized by the Ambassadors Leon Natta-Nelson and Kenneth Douglas. He further thanked the sponsors for the most important endeavor.
Prime Minister Dr. Drew encouraged the players and asked them to play with full spirit, while having fun. He continued and asked them to engage in wholesome positive activities that are critical for building a nation.
The tournament is decided to be conducted at the Warner Park Cricket Stadium in St. Kitts. Besides PM Drew, the ceremony also witnessed the presence of Sports Minister – Samal Duggins and Deputy PM – Dr. Geoffrey Hanley.
As per the sources, the tournament brought together the men over the age of 40 to engage in a competitive recreational soccer game, considering it as positive initiative for community building as well as healthy living.
The Ambassadors Football Cup Tournament is a great start with the participants and spectators who are now looking forward to see how the new venture unfolds.

The reason clarified is that as they cannot play at national or regional levels at this age, so the tournament was considered as an ideal opportunity for the men to showcase their talent and explore their hidden talents.
