St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew has acknowledged the establishment of the modern endoscopic unit. As a Health Minister, he announced that the Ministry of Health along with JNF General Hospital will host the 12th Annual Conference of the Caribbean Society of Endoscopic Surgeons (CaSES) from November 12 to 16, 2024.
PM Drew emphasized that it is a historic moment, as it is for the first time that the federation is hosting such event. It will welcome the prestigious surgeons from across the Caribbean to St. Kitts and Nevis.
However, the event underscores the rapid transformation of the health sector for the benefit of the people, as for them, health is truly on the move.
Prime Minister Drew extended his gratitude towards the Surgical Department at JNF Hospital, that especially considered Dr. Joylette Woodley and Dr. Mark Grant for their dedication and commitment. He also thanked the Social Security Board for their assistance.
The 12th Annual Conference of the Caribbean Society of Endoscopic Surgeons will be held at St. Kitts Marriot Resort and Royal Beach Casino. The conference will hold the intellectual sessions from special guest speakers.
The very first session will be conducted by Prof. David Rosin on Nov 14, 2024 emphasizing on the Live Surgery. The second session will be of Dr. Patrick Fasioen on Surgical Safety in Laparoscopy, which will be conducted on Nov 14, 2024.
Another session will be conducted on Nov 15, 2024 by Prof. Patricia Sylla on Environmental Sustainability.
This year, it will be the 12th edition of the Annual Conference of the Caribbean Society of Endoscopic Surgeons (CaSES). The 2024 conference promises to be an enriching experience for all as the officials go ‘Back to Basics,’ and will explore both current trends and also the future of endoscopic surgery.
