St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew praised Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson for receiving the 2025 Minister of Tourism Award at the inaugural Caribbean Women’s Leadership Awards.

PM Drew while congratulating Marsha T. Henderson on receiving the 2025 Minister of Tourism Award at the inaugural Caribbean Women’s Leadership Awards mentioned that while he appointed Marsha as Minister of Tourism, he was confident that it was the right decision.
PM Drew added that this prestigious award affirms his confidence in her. He praised her and told the minister to continue her outstanding work. She got his back and his full support and the unwavering support of the constituents, the Labour Party and the Cabinet.

The Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation and International Transport – Marsha T. Henderson was honoured with the award at the inaugural Caribbean Women’s Leadership Awards, held during the Caribbean Week in New York, US.
The award recognition ceremony was hosted by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) and its Secretary-General – Dona Regis-Prosper. It celebrates the achievements of women who are building the future of Caribbean Tourism. The award honours Minister Henderson for her visionary leadership, commitment to sustainable tourism development and transformative contributions to the growing tourism sector of St. Kitts and Nevis.
The decision to grant the award was taken by the fellow Ministers from across the region, as the Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson was recognized for her excellence in leadership, innovation in destination marketing and dedication to elevate the presence of Caribbean on the global tourism stage.
In her leadership, St. Kitts and Nevis has recorded notable advancements in airlift, community engagement and experiential tourism offerings – positioning the island as a leading destination for authentic Caribbean travel.
Acknowledging her achievement, Minister Henderson expressed that she is humbled and honoured to receive this recognition among such inspiring and accomplished women. She said that the award is a reflection of the collective work of the tourism stakeholders in St. Kitts and Nevis. She pledged that she will remain committed to fostering inclusive growth, resilience, and opportunity through tourism.
