The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Wednesday that its troops arrested several members of an Iranian-backed terrorist cell operating in southern Syria. The operation, which took place overnight, was conducted based on intelligence gathered through recent interrogations, the military said.

During the raid, IDF soldiers uncovered a cache of weapons, including firearms and grenades, in areas where the suspects were apprehended.
