The Higher Organizing Committee of the 7th Sharjah Overseas Cycling Tour has adopted the slogan “50 years of loving Sultan” for the tour launching on January 28, Friday.

One hundred forty-four cyclists will be going to take part and represent 24 teams from 16 countries.

The slogan came in reaction on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, who is the supreme Council Member, taking over the harnesses of Sharjah.

Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council, has shown his happiness at the resumption of the tour and said that the slogan represents the council’s love, sobriety, gratefulness and gratitude of the Ruler of Sharjah on his momentous event, primarily since the tour is under the trade of His Highness since the liftoff of the initial session in the year. h

Abdulmalik Jani, Chairman of the Committee, assured that the 7th edition would be unique and loaded with many sides by side evens.

He indicated that the tour enjoys outstanding overseas participation, which clearly shows that the pandemic of COVID-19 is not affecting much and its new axis. The launched Local youth tour to achieve the most significant possible benefit for the UAE youth under-16,17, and 18 years old.
