According to Colonel Khalifa AlMazroui, Deputy Director of Dubai Police Air Wing, an Indian woman fell ill in her Dubai World Islands. She was in need to reach the hospital urgently, but the sea rescue teams couldn’t reach the offshore destination because of unstable weather.
As per the Command and Control Centre at Dubai Police, “Col Mazroui”, they received an emergency call, and that person said one Indian fell sick at the Anatara World Islands Dubai resort. Still, low visibility, strong winds, and high waves stopped rescue teams from reaching her due to unstable weather.
He further stated that the visibility was very low at only 1,500 metres, and the speed of the wind was at 40 knots, generating high waves. However, teams of doctors were immediately sent on board of Dubai Police helicopter and supplied the women with necessary first aid treatment before taking her to Rashid Hospital.”
