Kuwait issued an order in which they made it compulsory that the team of doctors will wash the COVID-19 bodies but, now Kuwait cancels their decision and issues a new rule in which there is no need to clean the COVID-19 victims before burial.
They even officially cancelled their decision banning the washing of bodies of COVID-19 victims before burial and will soon cancel PCR test and quarantine, the Minister of Health said on February 2, Wednesday.
According to Dr Khaled Al Saeed, we are on the edge of the COVID-19 pandemic; now, we have officially cancelled the decision and issued a new order that it is no anymore compulsory to wash the COVID-19 deceased.
Moreover, Kuwait will also cancel the PCR test and exchange it with the rapid test, and the quarantine period is also not compulsory to have by authorities. The new measures are part of a slew of decisions to ease COVID-19 related restrictions.
According to the new reports of coronavirus, the country recorded new 6,592 coronavirus cases, two fatalities and 4,886 fresh recoveries, which takes the infection rate to 558,745 and overall deaths to 2,501. In contrast, total recoveries by patients jump to 502,03.
