Cairo: As Kuwait is all ready to open its schools once again for a new semester next Sunday, in this, they imposed some restrictions in which they demanded negative coronavirus detecting PCR test from those who are unvaccinated, especially teachers and students who are above than 16 and who have a negative PCR tests are the one who is allowed to come in school.
As per Al Anba’s quotes that this requirement is still compulsory now.
The requirements of showing a negative PCR test results certificates to enter in schools will be applied unless the administration sees upon a suggestion from health authorities to make another decision, and that is for the unvaccinated teachers and students above 16 are the only twin categories bound to present this tests, as per sources.
The government also imposed this restriction requirement on schoolchildren under the age of 16.
In February, the government of Kuwait has lifted most anti-coronavirus restrictions and, at the same time, comfortable travel curbs after a substantial decline in the infection rates.
At the same time, fully vaccinated people are allowed to come to Malls, cinemas, and theatres, but they need to submit their negative PCR tests.
There are also some government-imposed restrictions on social gatherings inside indoor and outdoor places, and full capacity of public transport is also allowed to comply with health requirements. The rule of physical distancing in mosques has been cancelled.
The second semester in Kuwait was mainly started on February 13. However, the Education Ministry delayed it to March 6 for a public holiday marking Independence Day, Liberation Day and Al Israa Wal Miraj (Prophet Mohammed’s night travel, PBUH).
