A majority of Israel (51%) believes that Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s government is now all ready for the next COVID-19 wave, a new Israel Democracy Institute (IDI) Israeli Voice Index poll found.

However, the confidence in handling the following variant is mostly held between those who stated that they voted for a coalition party.

Opposition voters were more likely to doubt if the government was ready for the next coronavirus wave.

Furthermore, the Israeli public showed confidence in the government. Nearly 33 percent of respondents stated that it would not last by the end of 2022, a substantial decline from the 46 percent who believed such when the question was asked in June 2021.

As per the some of 29 percent that their financial situation worsened since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020, including almost half (49 percent) of Arab Israeli men.

As per the reports, nearly 18 percent of Israelis think that their Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman is the most powerful in the Israeli government, even higher than any other minister.

During a poll process, when asked to name the government’s most influential figure, 39 percent of people stated that they were unable to answer the question. Below Liberman is Ra’am head, Mansour Abbas, with 14%, and Prime Minister Naftali Bennett with 12%.

Surprisingly, those aligned on the Israeli right and left were united in determining the finance minister as the most powerful minister.
