Through its platform, the authority reviewed a number of its most prominent digital initiatives based on metaverse technology and the latest disruptive technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as artificial intelligence, drones, energy storage, the Internet of things, robotics and others, to provide an integrated, innovative and value-added experience that keeps pace with the aspirations of customers, and enhances happiness stakeholders and quality of life in the Emirate of Dubai.


His Excellency Saeed Al Tayer, the Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, received at the DEWA platform John Philip Lenteau, Consul General of Canada, and Majid Sultan Al Mesmar, Director General of the Communications Regulatory Authority and Digital Government. Al Tayer also visited Huawei’s global platform, where he met with Stephen Ye, President of Huawei Middle East and Africa, and Avaya’s global platform, where he met Nidal Abu Latif, President of Avaya in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Pacific, and the “Asia Pacific” company platform. The DEWA platform at GITEX Global 2022 witnessed the signing of a number of memorandums of understanding and partnership agreements. Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and the Data Center for Integrated Solutions (Moro) of Digital DEWA signed a memorandum of understanding with Siemens Energy. Dewa’s digital subsidiaries also signed many agreements and memoranda of understanding with leading local and international companies and institutions, where the “Moro” Center signed an exclusive agreement with 3W Networks, a subsidiary of El Sewedy Electric.

And a strategic partnership with “Aster Pharmacies”, one of the sectors of “Aster DM Health Care”, a memorandum of understanding with Dubai Courts with the aim of providing support and providing cybersecurity services, and a memorandum of understanding with both Dubai University and “Cabula Teleservices” with the aim of enhancing the role of the call center in supporting Young cadres. InfraX, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, ​​and Dark Blue Technologies signed an agreement to promote the use of InfraX’s Internet of Things (LoRaWAN) network in the UAE.

The authority’s platform witnessed a large turnout of visitors to the exhibition, and the authority organized a number of competitions and events on the sidelines of its participation, and raffles were held to win valuable prizes for customers who conducted digital transactions through the authority’s website or smart application, in addition to special raffles for visitors to the platform and participants in customer experience surveys.
