Kuwait: Kuwait has banned Thalapathy Vijay’s most-anticipated movie. Beast is over a week away from release, and also, days are on the head of the release. The film, produced by Nelson Dilipkumar, is a hostage thriller.
Kuwait banned the Beast because it shows visuals of Islamic terrorism, which is totally against Kuwait’s interests. That is why the government of Kuwait decided to ban the film Dulquer Salmaan’s Kurup and Vishnu Vishal’s FIR were forbidden.
Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast is about to release in theatres globally on April 13. However, now it looks like fans in Kuwait will have to travel to other countries to watch the film.
As per the hidden sources, the government’s decision to ban the movie before release could be the terror angle that is telecasted in Beast. The Beast trailer also indicates that Beast is a thriller movie and some scenes also belong to Islamic terrorism.
#Beast is banned by the Ministry of Information in #Kuwait
Reason could be Portrayal of Pak, Terrorists or Violence
Recently Indian Movies #Kurup and #FIR were banned in #Kuwait
Of late, #Kuwait Censor is becoming very strict in GCC compared to other countries in the region

Before, Dulquer Salmaan’s Kurup and Vishnu Vishal’s FIR were banned in Kuwait. Moreover, Kurup showed a criminal taking shelter in their country. FIR was also related to the terrorism content. It is very common that film that shows Arab countries as a home for terrorists do not get a clean chit in Kuwait.
However, the movie trailer got a lot of love in the country and wide love from the audience; they showed some clips in which Vijay’s character could be seen fighting the terrorists somewhere in the middle east. The actor’s role is a deadly spy who saves hundreds of hostages at a mall in Chennai after a few terrorists take over the complex during festival time. Other movies with scenes and characters referring to Islamic terrorism were banned in Kuwait, including Dulquer Salmaan’s Kurup and Vishnu Vishal’s FIR.
Kuwait govt BANS #Vijay's #Beast.
