Dubai Municipality has ramped up its monitoring and inspection operations at Global Village, one of Dubai’s most popular family destinations, as the multicultural park celebrates its 30th anniversary season.
Authorities have already inspected over 51,000 food units, examined 49 shipments, and issued more than 200 exhibitor permits to ensure compliance with food safety and public health standards.
The inspections are part of ongoing efforts to safeguard visitors’ well-being as the attraction draws massive crowds from across the UAE and abroad.
Officials said the Municipality uses advanced digital tools and testing technologies to ensure food and non-food products meet both local and international quality standards.
These systems enable faster detection of potential risks and strengthen Dubai’s position as a global benchmark in consumer safety.
This year, Global Village has launched what it calls its “most spectacular edition yet,” celebrating three decades of cultural exchange, entertainment, and gastronomy.
Among the standout additions is The Dragon Kingdom, an immersive fantasy attraction where visitors journey through 11 themed rooms, each with puzzles and interactive challenges.
Guests must help “Ignis,” the last dragon, reclaim his lost power by solving clues across diverse settings — from mystical forests to fiery caverns.
Another new feature, Gardens of the World, showcases vibrant floral arrangements inspired by famous landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, and other global icons, offering a picturesque space for visitors and photography enthusiasts alike.
Dining experiences have also been revamped. “Fiesta Street” now provides more space for kiosks and food stalls, while the former Railway Market has been rebranded as the Dessert District, featuring a range of sweet treats.
“Road of Asia” returns as Asia Boulevard, offering a refreshed cultural experience, while “Happiness Street” dazzles under a newly designed canopy.
For visitors, ticket prices start at Dh25, and each entry automatically enrolls guests into weekly and seasonal raffles, culminating in a Dh10 million grand prize at the end of the season.
Parking remains free in most areas, though new premium parking options have been introduced — Dh120 for premium zones and Dh75 for P6 parking — to enhance convenience for visitors seeking quicker access.
As Dubai’s Global Village continues to evolve, authorities reaffirm that public safety and visitor satisfaction remain top priorities, blending cultural celebration with world-class standards of quality and comfort.
