The New X15 Gaming Laptop By Alienware Plans on Blowing the Competition Out of the Park

Alienware has plans to produce ultra-thin gaming laptops that can rival Razer. The thickness of the two new Alienware X15 flagship configurations is 15.9 mm, similar to Razer’s recently updated 15.8 mm Blade 15 Advanced.

Its thinness is impressive, considering Alienware usually refrains from competing in this area. It is also worth noting that the X15 looks like a powerful machine despite the more modern technology.

Alienware also introduced a more powerful, larger, and thicker 17-inch X17 laptop. We will present these two details below. Let’s start with X15. The X15 will be available today as a basic model, priced at $1999. Entry-level models include the 11th generation Intel Core i7-11800H processor (8 cores, clocked at up to 4.6 GHz), 16 GB of 3200 MHz RAM (cannot be expanded by the user due to size limitations)… 256 GB of high-speed NVMe memory Expanded to users with two slots that support M.2 2230 or 2280 SSD) and graphics chip Nvidia RTX 3060 (maximum graphics performance 90W, 1050MHz base clock, and 1402MHz boost). 15.6-inch FHD display, 165Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, up to 300 pure brightness, support 100% sRGB color space.

Alienware has not announced the price, but it does have X15 equipped with Intel Core i9-11900H processor, 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD (supports up to 4TB dual storage through RAID 0), and can download 32GB RAM. . RTX 3080 graphics card (8GB version, 110W maximum graphics performance, 930MHz base frequency, 1365MHz maximum frequency) can be installed to prevent infringement.

The display can be upgraded to a QHD-G panel-400 nits synchronization, including 240 Hz refresh rate, 2 ms response time, and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut. X15 is equipped with an 87W battery and 240W small adapter. X15 weighs at least 5 pounds, but it can weigh up to 5.2 pounds according to specifications. As for the display, there is an upgrade option to get a 300 nit FHD G-Sync board with a 360Hz wake-up rate and 1ms response time.

However, you can use a 4K 500 nit cabinet as much as possible, with a speed of 120 Hz and a response time of 4 ms. Like X15, X17 is also equipped with an 87 Wh battery. However, whether you get a 240W or 330W power supply will depend on your purchase agreement.
