Bahrain: Dr. Nawaf Faisal Al-Hamr chaired the first meeting of the Arab Doctor’s Committee for 2023, which was held virtually via video contact.
During the meeting, Dr. “Al-Hamar” emphasized that the award aims to highlight the leadership role of doctors within the joint Arab Work System to address challenges related to health and development in Arab countries and to encourage doctors to develop their performance and provide the best medical service.

Dr. Nawaf Al-Hammar pointed out the importance of accepting participation by Bahraini doctors and medical personnel for this award which supports national competencies and gives them the opportunity to apply for such prestigious awards, which embodies the interest of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain in supporting national competencies.

During the meeting, the basic criteria of the award were mentioned, which included the impact of the scientific candidate in the medical institution he works, as well as the achievements of the candidate in the health and voluntary fields and their impact on society and the need to highlight national and international awards in the field.
