The International Muay thai Federation, during its meetings held via video technology on the sidelines of the World Muaythai Championship for juniors, juniors, and youth, which was recently concluded in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, with the participation of about 100 countries from different continents, praised the great success achieved by the World Muaythai Championship 2022, which it hosted The Great Hall of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center “ADNEC”, as a prominent event that reflected the depth of cooperation between the member states, especially the Asian countries, which represent the continental arm of the International Muaythai Federation, and which formed a distinguished attendance at the championship activities, which witnessed the participation of 120 countries from different continents of the world.
The meeting also reviewed the technical, administrative and financial reports of the federation during the last period and the proposed scenarios for the future stage, in addition to adopting the timing for the regional and international tournaments, which contributed to the game boom during the next session of the federation.
The meeting was attended by Tariq Muhammad Al Muhairi, Board Member of the Emirates Muaythai and Kickboxing Federation, member of the Executive Office of the International Federation and Executive Director of the Asian Federation, Stephen Fox, Secretary General of the International Muay Thai Federation and all members.
For his part, Tariq Al Muhairi conveyed the greetings of Abdullah Saeed Al Neyadi, President of the UAE Muaythai and Kickboxing Federation, and President of the Asian Muaythai Federation, to all members for their interaction with the activities of the AFC, which contributed to the boom and development of the game, which reached the Olympic Games as of Paris 2024.
