Qatar defeats South Korea in handball at the Asian Games.

Qatar men’s handball team exhibited excellent performance in the Asian Games. In a tough-fought match, the team defeated South Korea with a 31-27 margin.

The match was held at Zhejiang Gongshah University Sports Centre in Hangzhou, China. This is the second consecutive win of the Qatari handball team. In the last game, Qatri’s team smashed the Hong Kong handball team.

Qatar defeated Hong Kong by 31-27.

The 19th Asian Games 2023 are being organised in China’s Hangzhou province.
In the first half of the match, Qatar led the lead by 16-12. But after the break and at the start of the second half game, player of Qatri’s team showed their exceptional technical gaming skills.

Qatar made its defence line extra strong in the second-half match. Moreover, the Qatar team relied on “fast break” tactics to challenge the speed of South Korean players and succeeded in maintaining the goal difference with defence skills. The difference in goal score in the initial stage ultimately led the Qatar team to victory.

The team delivered an extraordinary performance and demonstrated a blend of unique technical and physical abilities. The South Korean team tried to give a tough fight but could not break the strong defence line.

At the same time, South Korea’s players could not resist the pressure from the Qatar team.
Qatar player Wajdi Sinan said that we are focused on taking the team in the final match.

In other words, it was an expression of the gold medal aspiration of the Qatari team. He said that he is very hopeful for the team’s performance throughout all the forthcoming matches.
After two consecutive victories, Qatar has to face Japan in the next match at the Asian Games. The Handball team of Japan is also one of the strongest teams in the handball game segment.
