Cairo: According to the reports, a gulf man has been taken to hospital in Kuwait due to severe injuries he got after a stray hit him while driving a car.

According to the people who were present at the location, the bullet made the motorist, who had his wife with him inside the car, lose their consciousness and hit by the street lamp post in the Kuwaiti governorate of Al Jahra.

His wife was severely injured due to this accident, but she is in stable condition.

The man, a Saudi citizen, is in critical condition in an intensive care unit, citing a security source.

As per the sources, Police are seeking to identify the shooter who fled the scene.

Accidents are a completely avoidable cause of death. Unfortunately, it is responsible for a significant number of deaths in many societies. Road traffic accidents (RTA) are the leading cause of death among young people in Kuwait. The study looked into the patterns of accidental deaths in Kuwait, one of the Gulf States with a diverse range of multi-ethnic communities.

The government of Kuwait really needs to do campaigning and take strong measures to promote safety in the workplace and households through educational campaigns.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) and Global Burden of Diseases Study (GBD) indirect estimates, unintentional injuries cause 3.9 million deaths worldwide [1], with low- and middle-income countries bearing the lion’s share of the burden.

The majority of these deaths result from traffic accidents, falls, drowning, poisoning, and burns. Kuwait has a high rate of RTA; however, the authors have noticed that accidental deaths, in general, have been widely reported in newspapers and the media.

Ultimately, the WHO aims to find the problems and attempt to find the solutions to the issues of accidents.
