Providing integrated health services to 168 cases of budworms through home visits in less than a month since the service started according to the updated protocols.

The Ministry of Health has announced the results of the service provided to bedridden patients, the elderly and people with disabilities, in accordance with the protocols updated since its launch on the twelfth of last month, according to the periodic report submitted by the Central Department of Primary Health Care, to His Excellency the Minister A To the health of a D. Khaled Al-Saeed, who is directly supervising the service.
Dr Dina Al-Dabib, Director of the Central Administration for Primary Health Care, explained that in less than a month (from May 12 to June 9, 2022), 168 cases were dealt with in different governorates of the country; in fact, 77 cases in the capital, 21 cases in Farwaniyah, and 25 cases At Farwaniyah Governorate, and 31 cases in Ahmadi governorate, 14 cases in Jahra governorate.
Home visits included follow-up of elderly and people with disabilities of those with chronic conditions through multidisciplinary medical teams consisting of family doctors, dentists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, nursing, and lab technician, where team members, according to their specialities, took on presentation A complete service.
Dr Dhabib renewed the reference that the application for service request shall be through the ministry website, from Sunday to Thursday (8 am – 7 pm), except Thursday (8 am – 1 pm), with reference medical reports attached, as well as can be submitted and delayed B service through the health centre According to the area of residence.
