Kuwait: Jaber Hospital performed 1100 surgeries in 6 months after COVID-19 pandemic

The head of the surgery department at Jaber Ahmad Hospital, Dr Sulaiman Al-Mezeey, confirmed that the hospital's huge surgical capacity is back to the capacity of 3 surgical rooms, the largest number currently in Kuwait, citing that at least 50 surgeries have been performed in the period of 12 months.

He further thanked the efforts taken by the health minister Dr Khaled Al-Saeed, the health agent Dr Mustafa Reda and the Ministry’s view on developing Jaber Hospital and making it a specialized integrated hospital.
