The forensic report and DNA analysis proved that the mutilated body, which was found buried on a farm outside Cairo, belonged to the Egyptian broadcaster Shaima Gamal, who is accused of killing her husband, who works as a consultant in one of the judicial authorities, and the prosecution decided to hand the body over to her relatives.

In a legal move, an Egyptian lawyer filed a complaint with the Department of Illicit Gain of the Ministry of Justice against the advisor, demanding an investigation into the truth of his wealth and whether he used his influence after news leaked that it was illegal and that he had bank accounts, chalets in coastal areas, villas and apartments. In addition, the body of the victim was buried in her family’s graves on the outskirts of Cairo, announcing that there was no consolation until the verdict of the accused, and family members carried her pictures in her farewell.
