Los Angeles rescue services reported that a car crashed into a two-story house in the Mar Vista neighbourhood, “causing massive damage and a massive fire.”

She added that the woman who was driving the car “was taken to hospital in a critical condition.”

And American media confirmed several pieces of information published by the TMZ website, which specializes in celebrity news, indicating that the driver of the car was actress Anne Heche.

The 53-year-old actress’s car first crashed into the garage of a house before crashing into the villa in Mar Vista, causing extensive damage, according to the media.

Rescuers in Los Angeles said that the sixty people who went to the scene of the accident took more than an hour to put out the fire caused by the crash.

Anne Heche participated in a large number of films of the nineties of the last century, most notably “Six Days, Seven Nights” and “Donnie Brasco”. She is best known for her role in the series “Ather Ward”, for which she won the “Daytime Emmy” award in 1991.
