Dr Jalila bint of Jawad Hassan, the Minister of Health, confirmed the need to continue and enhance support of international efforts to combat the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) in order to achieve the proposed goals and objectives of the United Nations Joint HIV/AIDS Programme Acquired immune deficiency crisis (AIDS).

This came at the reception of Her Excellency this morning, Dr Shereen Al-Faqi, Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa Region of the United Nations Joint human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), on the margin of her participation in a group of Global experts at work of the 1st International Bahrain Conference on Acquired Immunity.

Earlier, the Minister of Health welcomed the Regional Director of the Middle East and North Africa, praising the continued cooperation of UN Programme experts and praised the participation in the activities of this conference held in the Kingdom of Bahrain in the presence of senior advisers and the Institute China with an acquired immune disease to exchange experiences and provide the best high medical care with the level of acquired immune deficiency patients.

For her part, Dr Shereen Al-Faqi praised the hosting and organizing of the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Bahrain for this important medical event that embodies keeping up with the health sector in the Kingdom for the latest updates, global developments, medical research and scientific studies in the field of an acquired immune virus.

During the joint meeting, a number of key topics of mutual interest were researched and reviewed, as well as ways to activate partnership, level of cooperation and coordination during the next stages in order to continue achieving sustainable development goals and objectives to improve quality and efficiency Preventive and treatment services provided in the field of acquired HIV disease.
