Bahrain: Under the auspices of her excellency Dr. Jalila the daughter of Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, the Minister of Health, the Department of Health and Equal Opportunities Committee organized a “Assurance” campaign for the female employees of the Ministry of Health to raise awareness on breast and cervical cancer, as part of the “We Care Project” in conjunction with the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
On this occasion, His Excellency the Minister of Health stressed the importance of organizing such events aimed at promoting the health of citizens and residents, signalling that the Kingdom of Bahrain joins the countries of the world in celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which falls in October every year, aims to Raise awareness about breast cancer, and support research that Seeking to find a cure for it, educating those at risk for it, making it clear that encouraging early detection and routine check-ups for various age groups fundamentally contribute to early detection, control and reducing its complications.
Her happiness confirmed that the Ministry of Health had ridiculed several awareness and educational programs supporting to intensify possible preventive measures, as well as promoting the spheres of community partnership to limit the spread and its consequences.
