Bahrain: The meeting of the agents of the ministries of Health was held for the eighth meeting of the committee of His Excellencies and the Ministers of Health in the countries of the Cooperation Council.
The representatives of the ministries of Health in the Cooperation Council countries held their preparatory meeting of the eighth meeting of the Committee of His Excellency and the Ministers of Health in the Council countries today, Friday, October 21, 2022, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh, chaired by His Excellency Dr Hani bin Abdul Azizi Z Gokhdar, Deputy of the Ministry of Health Assistant for Public Health in Saudi Arabia – President Current session -, in the presence of the representatives of the ministries of Health in the countries of the Cooperation Council and with the participation of His Excellency Mr. Khalifa Bin Saeed Al-Abri, Assistant Secretary for Economic Affairs and Development in the General Secretariat of the Cooperative Council.
During the meeting, many topics on the agenda were discussed, including the implementation of decisions and directions of the Supreme Health Council, support and implementation of the future joint work plan, follow-up of the implementation of International Health Regulations (2005), and support of cooperation projects in the field Health plus discussing the organization of registration and classification of health specialities in the council states, please Decisions to support the continuation of cooperation and coordination of work between Council countries, sister and friend states and international cooperation in the health sector.
The meeting concluded with a number of recommendations. It will be presented at the next meeting of the Committee of His Excellencies and the Ministers of Health, scheduled to be held tomorrow, Saturday, October 22, 2022, AD.
