Kuwaiti govt announces launch of recruitment for local teachers

Kuwait city: As Kuwait is facing an issue related to teachers, so to sort out this issue, the Ministry of Education took the initiative and identified its need for the 2022/2023 academic year for local recruits who holds university qualifications to work in Public schools in the disciplines of English, French, mathematics, science, chemistry, physics, biology, geology, and philosophy, as well as male art and design teachers, female physics, music education, mathematics and English teachers, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting reliable sources.

They stated that applications are hoping to be received officially after they made the announcement, and it was approved by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Dr Ali Yaqoub.

They also stated that they would upload the announcement on the official website of the Ministry of Education after the national holidays. Then it will start the contracting procedures with more than 1,000 teachers for 11 required specialties.

As per the sources, the announcement of the need for teachers happens annually and most probably during the time of February and March, and adding the process for completing the contracts would be completed by the Public Education and Administrative Affairs sectors before the beginning of the new school year.

The announcement demanded a good teaching experience, except for the female music education major. The experience would be limited to three years, especially for those with non-educational qualifications and two for those with educational qualifications.

The people who have a doctorate is exceptional and have obtained a grade of no less than “Very Good’ in their University qualifications, holders of a master’s degree and have obtained an average grade no less than “Excellent” in the university qualifications and from their college from Kuwait University.

However, seats are limited in order to pass the interview, and no case is exempted from this condition.

According to the announcement, no application for employment will be received until all requested documents are made available. Applications from entry visa holders will not be accepted.
