Kadapa: A woman who is the residence of Kadapa has urged the authorities’ help to bring her husband back from Kuwait; according to her statement, he has been “falsely implicated and unlawfully jailed” in the charges of a triple murder case.
‘Swathi’, a residence of Dinnepady village in Lakkireddipalle Mandal and her husband ‘Pillolla Venkatesh’ 35 years old, had gone to Kuwait with her husband to find a job for their livelihood two years ago. The man was hired as a driver by one Sher Ahmed. However, her wife was doing a domestic helper. Venkatesh later found another job.
According to Venkatesh’s parents ‘Sri Ramulu and Ramanamma’, their son called them 11 days ago in order to check and take care of his two children. He also assured them that he would send them money, and a week ago, we got a phone call from the Kuwait police department, and they were stating that they arrested my son on the charges of killing Sher Ahmed, his wife and his daughter. The police also said that they will soon deport Swathi.”
In her response, Swathi complained about the police of Lakkireddipalle police that the Kuwait police have unlawfully framed my husband in the case. Miscreants killed the three family members, and my husband, who works as a car driver in another house, was booked.”
His wife claimed that Venkatesh definitely had gone to the previous owner’s house once or twice in a bid to resolve the issue related to visa, but he did not attempt the crime. She further stated: “If my husband attempted the crime, they why they are deporting me.”
Lakkireddypalle SI Vinod Kumar said the district administration would take up the issue and asked her to meet the district collector.
Swathi requested the district administration, State and Central governments to interfere and bring her husband back. “Based on information gathered from social media, it has been learnt that my husband has been sent to police custody for 21 days,” she added.
