Triple murder blamed man committed suicide by hanging self in prison

Amaravati: A man who belonged to Andhra Pradesh and was in prison on the charges of killing three members of one family has committed suicide in the jail of Kuwait.

As per the sources, Pillola Venkatesh’s family in Kadapa district yesterday (Thursday) that he hanged himself in Kuwait central prison.

Venkatesh, who was just 35 years old, was facing allegations of killing a man, his wife and daughter in the Ardiya area of Kuwait, and that man was his ex-owner.

Family members of Venkatesh, who currently live in the Dinnepadu village of Lakkireddypalle Mandal, were shocked to receive the information. They, however, claimed that Venkatesh was murdered in jail.

His family members claimed that Venkatesh was innocent, and they were making false charges on him. The wife of Venkatesh’s ‘Swathi’ and his two children were inconsolable. She also stated that her husband was unlawfully jailed and murdered.

Moreover, the police of Kuwait deported Swathi last week to India after they arrested Venkatesh for the triple murder.

She went to Kuwait with her husband Venkatesh in order to search for livelihood two years ago. The man has initially did a job as a driver by a Kuwaii family while Swathi did work as a domestic helper; however, later, Venkatesh found another job.

Swathi said her husband was blamed for killing his former employer, wife, and daughter. On this, she stated that she visited the former employer’s house two times only, due to solving the issue related to their visa, he had nothing to do with murders.

Venkatesh was arrested in the case of murder of 80 years old Kuwaiti national, his 50 years old wife and 18 years old daughter. The victims were found dead in their homes. They were all stabbed to death.

As per the reports, the crime was committed on March 4, but it came to light four days later when the neighbours reported to police about the foul smell coming from their house.

As per the reports, Kuwait police stated that they sorted this triple murder case with the help of CCTV cameras.
