THALAPATHY VIJAY’S BEAST BANNED IN QATAR
The movie Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast is just a few days away from its grand release. Earlier Kuwait government decided to ban the film. Now, Qatar has entered the bandwagon.
Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast has been banned in Qatar now; as per the reports, it is banned because the film’s trailer shows Islamic terrorism, which is against the interest of Qatar. Hence they have banned Beast.
Earlier, Vishnu Vishal’s FIR and Dulquer Salmaan’s Kurup were banned in Kuwait for a similar reason.
Beast is a hostage thriller film that Nelson Dilipkumar of Doctor fame directs. Sun Pictures, on a massive scale, produce the movie. The film’s trailer acquired a thunderous welcome among the audience. Thalapathy Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Shine Tom Chacko and Yogi Babu play critical roles in the film.
As per the hidden sources, the government’s decision to ban the movie before release could be the terror angle that is telecasted in Beast. The Beast trailer also indicates that Beast is a thriller movie and some scenes also belong to Islamic terrorism.
Before, Dulquer Salmaan’s Kurup and Vishnu Vishal’s FIR were banned in Kuwait. Moreover, Kurup showed a criminal taking shelter in their country. FIR was also related to the terrorism content. Commonly, a film that shows Arab countries as a home for terrorists does not get a clean chit in Kuwait.
