Cairo: According to Kuwait police, they have arrested a young man who had appeared in a viral video cruelly attacking an older man.
The attacker is seen attacking the older man, wrapped in the traditional Kuwaiti costume in the footage.
And the worst part of the video was the attacker continuously and non-stop beating the victim, who appeared defenseless.

After this incident, the attack triggered an online outcry, and many social media platforms were a hotspot. Some people blamed the attacker for brutality, especially since the incident reportedly happened during Ramadan, when Muslims are exhorted to show mercy and seek Allah’s forgiveness.
One of the lawyers has also volunteered to present the case for the older man and two other victims.
According to the interior minister that the suspected assailant was arrested for attacking a Kuwaiti man and two Asian immigrants at a cooperative in the southern governorate of Al Ahmadi.

Moreover, as per the reports that the suspect was found to be an ex-con in connection to several cases, this came out after the ministry added a statement posted along with a picture of the criminal with his face blurred.
However, many things are not unknown, along with why the suspect attacked him.
The source confirmed that the security men would send the citizen to forensic medicine to determine his condition at the time of the incident’s commission and find out if he was under the influence of any unnatural substances.
Even the video clip of the incident going viral on Twitter documented the moment a person attacked an elderly during the day in Ramadan near a shop in the State of Kuwait.
As per the video, it is clearly visible that the older man is standing near a retail store without doing any work to anger the store owner.

Then, some unknown person came out of the shop and started pushing the older man and hitting him with a shoe and something like a belt, violently without the older man trying hard to save himself. Then he came back, followed him, hit him again, and pushed him to the main street.
The clip displayed a person’s existence in the place, but he did not move a finger or even try to defend the elderly.
The video clip received angry tweets calling for the aggressor to be held accountable.
