Dubai: Syed, a 52-year-old Pakistani driver in Dubai, was left speechless when he got to know that he had won a Dh100,000 weekly draw, and he got this information after seeing his name flashed on the screen. 

According to his interview, “I started participating in Mahzooz around six months back at the recommendation of my friends said Syed, adding: I lost for some minutes when I saw my name and raffle ID showing on the screen. During raffle that I was watching live on Youtube.” 

Furthermore, he said that he would utilize this money to good use. Besides paying my loan, I want to make sure that my and my brother’s family can live happily. I am so grateful to Mahzooz for this fantastic, life-changing event,” he added. 

The total price of that lottery was Dh2.7 million. 

Two more immigrants also won Dh100,000 each in the same draw. At the same time, 26 other lucky participants took home Dh76,923.07 each after sharing the second prize by matching four out of five winning numbers. 

A total of 1,165 third prize winners received Dh350 each. At the same time, no one won the Dh10 million grand prize; Dh2,707,750 were distributed among 1,194 winners last week.

One more raffle draw winner is Erasmo, a 44-year-old Filipino engineer who has also been a regular participant for the past two years.

He stated: “I got a call from my friend Mark on Saturday evening. I did not believe him when he called me and told me that I had won Dh100,000 as I thought he was doing a prank on me. When I verified the news, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I was so overwhelmed and had Goosebumps!.” 

He added: “I am the father of one child, and my wife plans to have our second child. Now, I can be assured that my children’s future will be secured.”
