Dubai: The actor and Producer of India (Kerala) Vijay Babu are suffering from allegations of sexual assault, and there is hope that he is giving himself up to the law enforced in Kerala soon after a female cine artist filed a police complaint against him.

The police of Kochi confirmed the news that he came back to Dubai from Georgia, and police also contacted the Indian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates for follow-up action so that he could be deported.

According to sources, Babu arrived in Dubai as soon as he got wind of the complaint. He reportedly left the country from Bangaluru after arriving in Goa. He was hiding in Dubai till the notice of the Union External Affairs Ministry; he rejected the validity of his passport, and he then left for Georgia.

However, the police tried their best to contact the Georgian Embassy and alerted the airports about the chances of his escape.

The police also started taking steps in order to issue a red corner notice. Realising that he would be caught soon, he came back to Dubai. The police also issued a red corner notice against Vijay Babu after Tuesday, as the Kochi City Police Commissioner CH Nagaraju stated.

However, Babu informed the Kochi police via an email that he was on a business tour and would come back only on Tuesday.

The city police are also planning to seize the property of Vijay Babu if he fails to surrender by Tuesday.
