In a statement, the bank pointed out that its partnership with Kuwait University and its sponsorship of Career Day stems from its constant keenness to support new graduates and prepare them to advance their careers with high confidence. 

Through this participation, the bank also aims to instil a culture of banking awareness among students, as well as provide them with tailored financial products. In line with their needs and to enable them to take their first step towards exploring opportunities in the labour market.

Al-Ahly stated that it also provided students with adequate information about the A+ student account, a product that the bank launched as part of its efforts to increase financial knowledge and educate different segments of society, indicating that the account aims to instil a culture of purposeful and sound savings among young people, as it is specially designed. 

For young people between the ages of 16 and 25, which will provide them with the required support during their financial independence journey and help them prepare for the future of digital and non-cash financial transactions.

He stated that the new student account A+ provides young people with the possibility to benefit from a wide range of valuable and attractive services, including discounts and special offers offered by shops, such as “Vox Cinema”, and others. 

In addition, students will have the opportunity to win an instant cash gift of 50 dinars when transferring their student scholarship to their account.

On this occasion, Assistant General Manager – Retail Banking Services Department at Al-Ahly, Dr. Haneen Al-Rumaihi, said: “We at (Al-Ahly) invest remarkably in supporting and developing the younger generations, as they are our precious assets and makers of Kuwait’s future. We are pleased to continue to support Kuwait University in its on-campus initiatives aimed at increasing financial awareness among young people.”

She added, “During the event, Al-Ahly promoted a comprehensive national awareness campaign entitled Let’s Be Aware, which was launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Federation of Kuwait Banks to spread awareness about the rights related to banking.”
