Kuwait: The head of the Union of Charitable Societies and Charitable Associations, Dr Nasser Al-Ajmi, stressed the necessity and importance of coordination with the General Secretariat of Endowments and unifying efforts and cooperation in the fields of humanitarian, charitable and relief work.
This came during a meeting that included the Federation of Charitable Societies and Charitable Associations with the Acting Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of Endowments, Saqr Al-Sijari.
Al-Ajmi praised the pioneering role of the General Secretariat of Endowments and its continuous support for charitable projects inside Kuwait and their implementation through charitable associations and charitable foundations in a manner commensurate with the specialization and objectives of each association.

He pointed out that the Union seeks to adopt joint initiatives and unify efforts to serve the local community, in addition to enhancing opportunities for progress in achieving its humanitarian strategy in the aspect of social responsibility and its support services, as well as exchanging experiences and information and working to develop a work strategy that enables associations and charitable organizations to spread their humanitarian and development goals and activities.
Al-Ajmi explained that the Union’s partnerships have positive results on the charitable work process in the country, especially with its local counterpart, especially the main supporter of the General Secretariat of Endowments.
For his part, the Acting Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of Awqaf Saqr Al-Sijari praised the importance of the humanitarian and societal partnership between the General Secretariat of Endowments and charitable associations and charitable organizations in the State of Kuwait on the local scene, whether through their implementation of traditional or qualitative projects that characterized the associations, praising the important role played by associations in the Fazaa campaign. Kuwait and during the period of the pandemic that engulfed the country and the world, and the services provided by associations and charitable organizations to the people inside Kuwait during the ban as they are among the humanitarian and charitable institutions.
