90 swimmers of both sexes, outputs of talented centers of school union

The centres for talented swimming continue their work through three weekly sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, for boys in the swimming pool at Abdul Mohsen Al-Bahr School in the Al-Surra area, and for girls in the swimming pool at Suad Al-Sabah School in Mansouriya, under the supervision of the technical and administrative bodies headed by a member of the Technical Committee of the School Union - Director Water games Hamad Al-Hay, with seven coaches for boys and the same number for girls, with the participation of 145 male and 120 female players.

In this context, Al-Hay confirmed that the academies of discovering talented swimming have produced a number of talented 55 players and 35 players and developed for them a set of training plans and programs that will contribute to raising their level and developing their talent to qualify them to participate in local tournaments in the name of the School Federation.

He said: The technical committee has developed a set of plans that contribute to developing a mechanism for discovering and developing talents to take advantage of the large student base enjoyed by swimming, as one of the games included in the school games project “Our Talents in Our Schools”, which enhances opportunities for attracting and developing talents, and we are working to find the best ways to benefit from the base of playing the game and to attract, develop and refine more talents, especially since the numbers indicate the presence of more than 300 swimming practitioners, which shows the large presence of swimming in the community and enhances the opportunities for its development.

Al-Hay pointed out that the Technical Committee for Swimming is currently making detailed tables on the talents in each age group and the plans drawn for their development in an effort to achieve local and external achievements that contribute to raising the flag of Kuwait in various forums.

Developing the mechanism of swimming practice, helps to discover new talents with suitable physical qualities, which contributes to enhancing the chances of finding a nucleus for the different national teams.
