Kuwait: The State of Kuwait, represented by the Kuwaiti Scouts Association, participated in the twenty-first forum of the Arab Scouts, which was hosted by Tunisia for over a week and aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of the participants from the rangers and guides, in the fields of peace, heritage, traffic safety, right and natural sciences, in addition to developing their life skills, through the pillars of knowledge, skill and behaviour.
The delegation was headed by the Vice-President of the Kuwaiti Scout Association, Hussein Al-Maqseed, and the delegation included Commander Ali Bilal and Commander Khaled Al-Failakawi, in addition to three hikers.
Al-Maqseed said in a press statement that about 800 mobile phones and Dalilah representing 9 Arab countries participated in the forum, which included many seminars and workshops on arts, first aid, heritage and other events and activities, noting that the Kuwaiti mobile phone, Saleh Al-Kandari, was awarded the Arab Mobile Medal, and this is a new achievement added. For the achievements of the Kuwaiti Scout Movement.
He added that the participation of the Kuwaiti delegation was successful, praise be to God, as we were keen to actively participate in all the events and activities of the forum, noting that the Chargé d’Affairs of the State of Kuwait in Tunisia, Dr Muhammad Al-Hajri was in constant contact with the delegation to check on it, in addition to that he attended part of the Arab National Day Which was held within the activities of the forum, where he was briefed on what the delegation presented on this day.
Al-Maqsed expressed his deep thanks to Ambassador Al-Hajri and the embassy staff for their interest in the Kuwaiti delegation and for harnessing all possibilities for the success of its participation in this Arab gathering. He also praised the role of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwaiti Scout Association, Dr Abdullah Al-Turaiji, and the members of the Council in facilitating the delegation’s travel procedures and their continuous communication with the delegation.
