Saudi Arabia: In a horrific murder that shook the Jazan province in Saudi Arabia, a man killed his wife with a sharp object and committed suicide on the spot to end his life as well.
The media confirmed that the security authorities started the incident yesterday, Thursday, in the village of Al-Radis in Jizan.
Eyewitnesses stated that the man was a retired 60-year-old from one of the neighbouring governorates. He married an Arab family in the village of Al-Radis and settled in the same village about six years ago. Before the crime, he was working in a taxi.
They reported that he is a balanced but somewhat emotional person and supports a number of boys and girls.
The people of the village denounced this heinous, strange and unexpected crime, and one of the residents stated that the perpetrator divorced his wife two days before he committed the crime, but she refused to leave the house to be near her family members.
It is noteworthy that the security authorities are still investigating the case to find out the reasons and motives.
