The Ministry of Education announced the start of registration for the “Intilaaqah” university preparation program, to prepare a generation of students who are able to enroll in the most prestigious universities, locally and globally, in many disciplines that meet the needs of the labour market and feed its various priority sectors in accordance with the state’s strategy and future directions.
The program aims to diversify the scholarship countries, educate students about distinguished universities around the world, and provide academic guidance for them, in order to choose their academic and professional paths, in line with their skills, abilities, capabilities and future tendencies, in addition to facilitating their chances of obtaining direct academic admission to local universities, and unconditional ones in universities.
Intilaaqah, which is implemented by the Ministry, in cooperation with its partners, the Abdullah Al Ghurair Foundation for Education and Univer, targets students of the third cycle of the ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth grades of all nationalities, and schools in the country, whether governmental, private or applied technology secondary schools, as it will be implemented by default. Outside school hours throughout the academic year.
The program includes two stages, the qualification stage, where students are qualified with the necessary requirements and skills, and includes students in grades 9, 10 and 11 until they reach the twelfth grade to move to the empowerment stage, through which they will be able to actually apply to universities and obtain direct and unconditional academic admission.
In addition, the program provides a range of services, including guiding them to choose the majors compatible with their personalities, skills and abilities, and supporting their registration in standardized tests.
It also works to enrich the experiences of students by encouraging them to participate in the enrichment programs organized by the Ministry, to develop their academic and non-academic skills, in addition to the service of following up their registration in higher education institutions through the student registration platform of the Ministry of Education. ( NAPO ), and introducing them to scholarships and scholarships offered by government and private institutions in the country.
His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Mualla, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Academic Affairs stressed that the Ministry is keen to consolidate and strengthen relations with local and international educational and academic institutions, attract and qualify students to join higher education institutions inside and outside the country, provide them with skills, knowledge and science, and support them in determining their desires and tendencies, in line with future labor market needs.
He explained that the Intilaaqah program constitutes a new stage to prepare a generation of Emirati students with the necessary skills and competencies, and to facilitate their chances of obtaining unconditional academic admission in international universities and direct admission to distinguished universities in the country, to achieve the state’s vision and future rational leadership 2071, in building innovative and pioneering national generations and cadres. and preparing them for competition.
