Egypt rejects statement issued by High Commissioner for human rights on release of convicted Egyptian citizen

Egypt has rejected the statement issued by the high commissioner for human rights regarding a very controversial situation which states an Egyptian citizen who was found guilty and convicted of a crime is currently serving his sentence, and the high commissioner for human rights has called for his release.

On this act from the human rights commissioner, Egypt straightway rejected the issued statement, which holds controversial statements regarding the judiciary and law of Egypt as well, in which they stated that the law and the constitution of Egypt is an inevitable hurdle in the way of safety and promotion of human rights.

Furthermore, picturing judicial orders and decisions as “unfair “is stated as a not acceptable offence.

Moreover, it has been found that the released statement directly violates the fundamentals of impartiality and objectivity, which was added in the General assembly resolution establishing his mandate, which next puts the individual problems on the sole purpose of selectivity, which then raised doubt on his objectivity.

It has also been found that the sources were propagating false accusations because all the information and inputs regarding the issue were completely unsubstantial.

The high commission added some considerable statements without any form of conclusive evidence, which only relied on hearsay that spoils his credibility and the institution that he represents on behalf of the international community.

The high commissioner was further expected to respect his mandate and display some professionalism as an international employee, followed by the beginning of his tenure and duties to only depend on truthful sources for such kind of inputs and information in the coming future.

He was also told to refrain from involving in the cases which are going on in the Egyptian courts, along with the verdicts issued in an attempt to defend the national laws. The high commissioner was also called to put his entire focus on upholding safety measures of human rights by compassion towards others.
